A Friend of mine suggested A good solution for bringing a change in our democratic system, that I liked so much that I have decided to put a discussion on it...
following is the suggestion :
All the leaders who want to fight the election must give their agenda for next 1 year. whosoever provides the best agenda ( though even selecting the best agenda will also be difficult) must be selected. Then after a year if he is not able to complete whatever he has suggested he must resign or put off the job and should be barred from elections for next 10 years (may or may not be the case...).
Now if this thing has to be implemented, many other things will have to be taken into account, that needs a gr8 amount of discussion...
its his suggestions and can be challenged and changes can be suggested/made...
what you/we can do....
just have a discussion here, put forth your own ideas of change and even if they don't match with this particular idea, we can still discuss that as well...
tell limitations/changes to eliminate limitations on this as well as any other idea as well...
FORWARD TO Y/OUR CONTACTS/FRIENDS for discussion...(we can actually make a petition for bringing about a change , if we can get enough support...)

dis is a gr8 idea.in today's date wat is required some stricter laws for commom ppl as well as for politicians..but..d real pont is..will v b able to implement it..our politicians who r busy passing bills for increasing deir salaries manifolds n v r just watching foolishly wud allow such a system to work..v need better n younger,dynamic leaders for our country...visionaries...use ur blog for encouraging youngsters to think for d nation..!

its just worth trying... lets hope others will follow...
Again things going the way they always go.... We speak and then we don't do anything about what we wanted to do... if this idea was that good, why haven't u taken an initiate to get it implemented as yet..... things will not fall in line themselves, take the initiate that is what we lack at this time... Let's see what you can do about it.... Why don't you start a petition to change the constitution of India itself. The present version was written keeping in mind 20th century. Its not applicable in 21th and what all minor changes come they are all again coming from people from 20th century who think they are good enough to make laws for people from the next. Complete generation gap i would say there also..... if you think the same, start a petition as you are the one who want to do something.... I am the typical Indian... Let's see you come out of your closet or not.
ReplyDeletea nice idea, but just an idea, it need a great deal of discussion, even that could hardly help, since the people of power capable of making change in the current democratic system would not go for it. It is like putting your own ass on fire to prove that you are capable of taking hardships...Not trying to be pessimist, i feel the change is possible, but not the way we expect it to come, without taking pangs for it, the success will always be denied to us. It needs a personal involvement on each behalf.

ReplyDeleteMy view are very clear...i believe its not current political system which ruining the great Indian dreams, rather the people who are involved in it.....what we need it a change in the managers of this great country...and replacement is off-course the people who think the change is required and those who believe that they can do better ...here i mean the involvement in active politics....

ReplyDeleten we all know how true it is..... system comprise of people of course, but these people are forced to change according to the system... n the point where a single person could have changed the system is long gone (past).
either it has to be full force at once or nothing at all......
the question still remains , which is the best way to put the force in the RIGHT direction....
A right discussion by the righteous people for this very wrong country in political terms. Good to see suggestions going around , which shows that we , the common people are patriotic and considers this deplorable situation as our own. But idea of giving the chance to these psycho is not my cup of tea. We need to understand the root cause here that forces our politicians to take this path. A youth entering in his early stages is forced to give bribe for getting his tickets. He is allocated only 10% percent of the amount by government to propagate his agenda.Rest comes from "sponsors". So getting in to this habit of give and take bolsters his belief on "jugaad" , thus digressing from the righteous path. Ab haath gande ho gaye ek baar, to kya sharam. So my suggestion to this system that i know is like searching light in dark matter will be a exam based system that we , the other sections of society go through for achieving posts. 2 years ka course karvao ( with some difficult exam like CAT at the end :) ) and " NATION LOVE SUBJECT " being the prominent subject with maximum credits.
